Disney Land! Day 2, Trip to Corona

We had some major problems yesterday. Oh my goodness. O_O'

We had to go through New Mexico, and that was fun. *insert sarcasm here*. I-40 was absolutely blocked off for some reason, and we spent 2 or more hours trying to get back to the interstate. That put us really behind. Ugh.

So, there we are. Stuck in Albuquerque, stuck in dead stand still, trying to find our way back, and it's hot.

And guess what?

We got a flat tire on our RV!

But, thanks to our manly-men, they changed the tire in record time, and we got back on the road. :D

We made it out of Albuquerque and continued our relentless trek to the Grand Canyon National Park.

We got there at 1:00 in the morning, but we still got there. When we got there, though, we got out and stated at the stars. You can SEE the STARS! :D You can't see that many back home at all, due to all the city lights. You can see them there. Wowwwww! :3 They were gorgeous. Thank you, Lord, for the stars!

This morning, we got up, had a great breakfast, made by our awesome nephew-in-law/cousin-in-law Adam, and scooted our way to the Grand Canyon.

Adam then made the statement, "How can you not believe in God when you see this?"

That sums up our trip to the Grand Canyon :).

Alrighty! Now, as I type this on my handy-dandy phone, we are on our way to California to drop me off in Corona for the YA's.

There is BIG news, though...

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY LAND TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!

More on that tomorrow!

"Califorrrrrrrrrrniaaaaaaaaa"!

Today marks the first day of he trip put to California. :) My poor little room that's over 800 miles away in TN is now vacant and empty. It's such a bittersweet thing, y'know.

As of now, I'm riding shotgun with my Mom, just outside of El Reno, OK. We just had to jump off our RV at a truck stop. It up and died out of the blue! Luckily, we were blessed enough to find a couple to jump us off, no problem. Thank you, nice people in the Chevy out in Oklahoma City!

We're all exhausted. We want sleep. It's just my momma and I now up and awake (barely). I started to wrote this in OK, but my phone died, and now I'm 20 miles outside of Amarillo, TX. Yeehaw!

But in BIG news, I got a huge surprise today.

So, without going into too much detail, my boyfriend (Scott) and I are holding onto our awesome relationship out in CA before I return home for Christmas!

That's not the big surprise, though ;).

I told my amazing boyfriend goodbye Thursday evening while he helped me pack my stuff in my already full car. He prayed with me, and told me goodnight, and left me. I was too tired to really dwell on the fact that I just said goodbye to him for a few months (which isn't that big of a deal), nor did I want to, so I fell asleep fairly quickly.

I got up this morning at 6:00 am, after receiving good rest, surprisingly. I packed up the REST of my stuff, cleaned up my little lonely room, and said goodbye, proud that I hadn't cried this morning.

I get out to the RV, hug people goodbye, and go in. I go to put up blankets behind the curtained bunk bed, and there's a CAMERA POINTED AT MY FACE, AND SOMEONE SAYING, "Surprise!"!!!!

I go, "EEP!!!" and shut the curtain.

It was Scott. The ever awesome boyfriend. :DDD

I was so EXCITED THAT HE WAS THERE!!! But all I said was, "EEP!".

... Ugh.

Scott's  here with me! He and my Mom had it planned from the beginning of August! It meant a lot to me to have him here :3.

Anyway, we've come to Amarillo, thank you Jesus! :D Mom and I are going to try and find an RV park for the night. *crosses fingers*

Till next time!

Nine Days and Nail Biting

Nine days.
Nine. Days.

Oh my gosh. I remember when it used to be a year ago, and I wanted this August to get here SO badly. Now that's it's here... I'm not sure what to think. I'm excited, I'm nervous, then I'm excited again... then I'm thinking, "Oh, jee, I need to pack."

Good news is, I've gotten done with my college algebra course, and I'm crossing my fingers and shooting up a prayer that it'll count for the Young Americans. I'm getting an associates degree from the YA's, and they require some classes to be taken, and they said they needed math. Hopefully, it'll count, and I won't have to take it again.

Math and I... we're not friends... at all. Ugh. I do not like math. Wait wait, I take it back. I like long division, fractions, and multiplication. I like doing those! :D

But math should never have letters in it. EVER.

*sigh* Nine days, though! My Mom's niece and her nephew-in-law, are coming with us on our trip. We're taking a side trip to the Grand Canyon, and they've never been there before, so we're making a trip :).

What's really kind of sad, though, is once we get there, unload my stuff, go through orientation (which will take ALLLLLL day on the 31st (I think it's the 31st...?)) they'll be leaving pretty much immediately the next day, due to work schedules at home.

Which is fine! I understand that. It's just a new part of my life ( a big new part!) and if I could, I'd have them stay for a month! Lol!

It'll all work out. :) I know it will. God says it will, so it will!

Till next time (NINE DAYS!!! EEHGHAD!!!)!

The Garden Burger - 21 Days!

I'm so excited! I met one of my New Kids 2011 classmates yesterday! She's my age, and her name is Megan. I really liked her! :D It's just reminding me how close I am to leaving my home town.

We finally figured out how to tow my car :). It was a little bit of a hassle, but we made it work.

In other OTHER news, I got a few new pieces of clothing for my shows at the Young Americans. SO EXCITED!!!

Here's what I picked up during Tax Free Weekend here in Nashville:

So, as you can tell, I'm excited! Can't WAIT! YAY!!

My favorite things I've bought so far, are my shoes, my back pack, and the gray/green sweater. :3 They say when you go out to the YA's, that you should express yourself. Well, I'm working on it! I know some things that I like, but I don't think I'm particular style...? I wear pretty much everything. That's modest. Modest is hottest. IMO.

Until the next internet posting!
